2023 癸卯年 is the Year of Water Rabbit commencing on 04 Feb 10.43am (not CNY 22 Jan 2023).

The chart above integrates Xuan Kong flying star 玄空飞星,  Qi Men Dun Jia 奇门遁甲 and Flying Tai Sui 太岁飞吊 真禄马贵人.

Do remember to rectify the annual bad sectors before activating the positive ones.

You do not need to correct all the negative sectors but just the important ones.

Using your Home Destiny Energy Map find out where are your “Main Door”, “stove” and “bedroom” locations (not directions). These are the 3 critical feng shui functions 阳宅三要 that you need to fix annually. Most important is your Main Door location. As usual if there are no specific size or colour on the recommended items, do it at your convenience.

Based on 奇门遁甲 Qi Men Dun Jia formula, all 8 Doors are back to their original place – 八门伏吟 which tell us 2023 is not a good year. Take a defensive approach 以守为攻 in life major decisions. 

Let’s begin doing your own D.I.Y. office or home feng shui:

West is the Worst sector for the year 岁破 三煞 忌坐 (不忌向) conflicting with Rabbit year.

So if your house main door is located at West sector you will have to place 3 Qi Ling 骑麟  at this sector and facing West ( no spiritual blessing  开光 since feng shui got nothing to do with religion). Also house that sits West 三煞 忌坐  and facing East direction (main door) have to pay extra attention to accidents or sicknesses. Just be mindful to keep yourself and your loved ones safe for the year. Bed and stove position in West sector is not as serious but one can still put the 3 Qi Ling. For additional effectiveness one can add a glass of coarse salt water in front of 3 Qi Ling if space allows (if not just have the 3 qiling).

Northwest misfortune 5 五黄 灾星 五行燥土  

This year misfortune does not rank no. 1 as the worst sector. This is because the bad effects are reduce residing in NW which inherently a Metal sector. In addition the positives of QiMen 开门 Open Door & 太阴 are both metal elements. In case you forgot resolving sickness 2 or misfortune 5 uses “metal” and sometime with “water”.  If NW falls within the 3 critical functions of your home is still good to have “metal” i.e. 6 Big Bronze coin or objects that create “metal sound” such as 6 rod wind chime or music box etc. If this is the main door location consider having yellow bronze (also call copper or brass) sheet overlay with a grey colour door mat.

East 2 二黑  坤卦 病符 五行燥土 sickness 2 太岁 Hurting Door same remedy with misfortune 5, use 6 Big Bronze coin and a glass of Coarse Salt Water. Can put side-by-side. If possible try to minimise facing East in your daily activities 太岁忌向 不忌坐. Minimum Diameter per piece of Brass coin should be 3 inches.

SouthWest 1 一白 坎卦 贪狼星 五行水 Death Door. Although based on flying star is auspicious star “1” but 奇门遁甲 QMDJ is 死门 death door. It is best to dilute the negativity of Death Door using 6 Big Bronze coin before activating the positives of annual star “1”. Once you have corrected the energy for this sector then you can activate the usual 文昌 Wen Chang academic pursue by putting 4 water-growing bamboo (similar to previous years). If not you can use NE sector to enhance 飞吊 真文昌 instead.

SouthEast 3 三碧 震卦 蚩尤，五行属木 quarrelsome 3 use any pink object to dilute disharmony. E.g. pink colour wallpaper, rose quartz crystal etc. 杜门 can use this sector to stay hidden

NorthEast 7 七赤 兑卦 破军 乙卯-文昌+天乙阴贵 甲子-真禄 To dilute the bad effects of annual star 7 (money loss, gossip, hurt by metal e.g. knife) is the easiest, having a glass of plain water or coarse salt water will do the job. If you are using this sector to activate Wen Chang 文昌-乙卯 help in studies, place a rabbit figurine (any size) ideally green in colour – this is using another powerful feng shui principle 太岁 真禄马贵人. It originates from classic book call 选择宗镜. This method is more effective than the usual assumption of activating East sector 卯 (rat) being wen chang sector (other masters uses this). However if anyone of your family members Zodiac Sign is Rooster, please do not use rabbit figurine but place “1” stalk of water-growing bamboo. To activate “noble man / benefactor ” coincidentally is the same as wen chang 乙卯 天乙贵人 – 阴贵. Thus by having a green colour rabbit one have activated 2 benefits 文昌  + 天乙贵人(阴贵).

For wealth enhancement 太岁真禄神 use a rat figurine (occupant zodiac sign horse do not use) made of wood or green in colour. 

Center annual star “4” 文昌  scholarly pursue  “trapped” in the center best to try other sectors i.e. NE (better option) and SW

South is Xuan Kong flying star 8 Wealth sector  财位

North is QMDJ 财位 飞鸟跌穴吉格 丙甲 wealth sector 丁巳 阳贵 驿马 and 玄空 flying star 9 九紫喜庆 右弼火星
飞鸟跌穴 – 百事吉，不劳而获 well rewarded without effort

the Best way to activate North & South Wealth sector is “use” it daily. No enhancement beats that! If you are unable try to have lights or clock in the sectors.
